ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

DESIGN LEAD

 

  • Researched and proposed ideas to the team.

  • Game prototyping (In Unity), playtesting and feedback.

  • Enemy and level design.

  • C# scripting.

  • Designed UI flow in the game.



TAKEAWAYS

  • Communication is important! There was a slight miscommunication between the artists and designers on how the level assets should be implemented. However, this was resolved quickly after the problem was raised during the meetings.

  • Have a project timeline. While the team allocated tasks to each member, we did not set a deadline to complete the assigned work. Because of this, some of the tasks were overdue, leading to a delay in the work progress. However, the team recovered and was back on track after we planned our workflow using Trello.
